Chávez ya era gigante, pero un día de agosto, el año pasado, dijo: yo ya no soy Chávez: Chávez eres tú joven, eres tú mujer, eres tú Pueblo, y entonces creció aún más, compartió su liderazgo y se multiplicó al infinito, se inmortalizó en esa marea roja que ahora canta “todos/as somos Chávez”.

No quería morir, resistió con heroísmo y con amor, “aún me queda mucho por hacer” decía, y luchó por la vida que él amaba, por eso el pueblo canta con Alí Primera “el que muere por la vida, no puede llamarse muerto” . Y volverá cada día en las pautas de humanidad que dejó enrumbadas, en las ideas revolucionarias que sembró. Y lo seguiremos viendo volver, volverá cobijado de la bandera cubana y la bolivariana, volverá con Bolívar y su espada a recorrer los miles de proyectos populares, las comunas y Misiones, los planes internacionalistas. “Chávez no murió!
